Conjoined twins Mercy and Goodness have never seen each other face to face.

This story is a powerful reminder that behind all the debates, headlines and fears, AI is also being used to solve some of humanity’s most complex challenges.


For a pair of conjoined twins, it helped doctors plan a procedure that made separation possible by foreseeing every possible risk and eliminating it before the actual surgery. For their family, it meant a chance at two independent lives.


Not every AI story is about automation. Some are about hope and second chances.


This is the kind of AI story we need more of.


As a society, we might have collectively decided to mistrust A.I. and rightly so, but let's not forget that it has it's uses too.
